One day after the European Open, we can look back on a sensational week.
We look back on the last days with fantastic impressions and unforgettable moments. Despite the initial uncertainty, we delighted our guests. In the end, we can say that the European Open was a sensational success!
Full house every evening
The first players already arrived on Monday. They were also curious about the possibilities in Fulda. And above all, whether the players could play or train somewhere. It quickly became clear that as a club we could offer the participants ideal conditions. And the word got around early on. On Monday evening, we already welcomed some of the 256 participants. Every table we had was occupied and some spectators were milling around the tables. The atmosphere on the opening day was incredible.
In the following days, too, the clubhouse was full from 20:00 at the latest. The atmosphere was so good that the participants came even though it was clear that all the tables were occupied. It was simply about the good mood. Every day until late at night. We have never experienced anything like that before.
So that no one misses out
Every day we were well prepared to serve our guests. Our fridge was always well stocked and food and snacks were provided. From fresh chilli con carne, baguette with dip, bruscetta, tortelini bites or burgers with chips. There was something for everyone. The selection was very popular.
Farewell with a laughing and also a crying eye
At the end of the week we are relieved that the work is now done. There was a lot to do. Many unclear questions at the beginning of the event and the hope that it would somehow work out. And it did. All participants were enthusiastic! A big compliment to all the helpers in the association. Without you it would never have worked. Now it’s quiet again and the stress is over.
And yet we already miss all the participants. It is completely unusual to think about meeting “only” the usual members in the association again this evening. The atmosphere was unique and we hope to see you again soon. Great that you were with us!
